TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A pedestrian who was stuck by a vehicle on Stone Avenue on Wednesday, Feb. 13, died four days later, police said.
Police have identified the victim, but have not yet notified next of kin.
The incident happened on Stone between Grant Road and Alturas at about 8:30 p.m..
The driver remained at the scene. A DUI officer determined that the driver was not impaired.
Investigators determined that the victim was struck by a southbound 2005 Dodge Caravan while walking east across Stone about 100 feet south of the intersection. He was wearing all black clothing and was not in a crosswalk.
Speed did not appear to be a factor in the collision, police said. No arrests or citations were issued.
