UPDATE: Suspicious package in Rita Ranch not a bomb

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Police closed off part of a street in Rita Ranch in Southeast Tucson Wednesday afternoon.

Someone found a suspicious package at about 2 p.m. 

A box with several wires sticking out of it was found outside a home on the 7600 block of South Sugarberry.

Officers evacuated the immediate area, and bomb squad personnel found the package was not harmful.

No word yet what it was.
