SAN CARLOS, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a medical helicopter has crashed on Arizona's San Carlos Indian reservation and both people aboard were seriously injured. Neither victim is reported to be a patient.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says that the pilot lost control while trying to land in San Carlos around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The San Carlos Apache Reservation is along U.S. 70 between Globe and Safford, in Gila County, about 60 miles east of Phoenix.
