Why is Al Gore's picture on Horry County jail's website?

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - On Nov. 11, 2009, former Vice President Al Gore's photo was listed on J. Reuben Long Detention Center's bookings and releases.

According to the jail log, the entry for Gore's photo, titled "Test Test" shows he was incarcerated at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday on public disorderly charges. Bail was set at $200.

A second entry for "Test Test" was found on Feb. 8, 2009, also featuring Gore's photo. That entry shows charges of aiding or abetting theft of electric current and an 8-minute stay at the jail.

Both photos were removed from the Test Test entries shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday.

Horry County spokeswoman Lisa Bourcier says the two photographs were inadvertently placed on the site during training sessions.

"Once the error was brought to the attention of their staff they immediately removed the file," she said.
