PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Senate has voted to prohibit placement of covers or substances on auto license plates so that vehicles can't be identified by speed camera systems.
The Senate on Thursday approved the amendment by Democratic Sen. Ken Cheuvront of Phoenix, adding it to a bill that makes other changes to the speed camera program. The bill now awaits a formal Senate vote.
