PHOENIX (AP) - Bomb threats forced election officials to move one of their polling places in Phoenix today.

The calls involved Longview Elementary School at 12th Street and Indian School.

Phoenix police spokeswoman Sergeant Lauri Williams says three calls were made early today, making some kind of bomb threats. She says police searched the school and didn't find anything.

Nevertheless, Maricopa County elections officials decided to move the voting to a nearby church - the Phoenix Reformed Church.

Williams says school officials also decided to shut down Longview for the day.

State School Superintendent Tom Horne says students were taken to Montecito School after being evacuated from Longview.
