A Tucson woman who hit and killed a bicyclist on the eastside will spend the next 10.5 years in prison. Melissa Arrington was convicted and sentenced Tuesday for the drunk driving crash that took the life of Paul L'Ecuyer.

The accident took place on Old Spanish Trail in December 2006. Arrington was driving despite having a suspended driver's license from a previous DUI.

Witnesses say Arrington's car swerved off the road twice before she hit L'Ecuyer.

She then drove an additional 800 feet before stopping.
