Just because consumers are paying for music online does not mean they are paying for licensed music. The Center For Democracy and Technology uncovered dozens of websites that do not have the legal right to distribute music. Some of these sites promise legal access to billions of songs for a monthly or lifetime fee. But experts warn that just because you are paying for the service does not translate to a legal download.
There is a way to check if you are paying for licensed music. Here are some useful website to make sure you are paying for a legal download.
