Stanford band insulting

At the Stanford-Arizona football game this past weekend and I was amazed, disturbed, angry and left totally in disbelief.  Not at Arizona losing the game, but with the Stanford band.

Their entire half time show was childish, political sarcasm.

They first insulted Arizona and Senator McCain about us not doing Daylight Savings, then about MLK Day and then they called McCain the official state fossil. Even the democrats next to me were appalled.

Lastly, their class of '58 was told to get moving off the field since they would be slow and might hold up the game.

I also heard this same band's show bad-mouthed Catholicism at Notre Dame.

Something to think about:  Why should any band be allowed to insult the crowd and politicize a football game?  Maybe I don't get it, but my respect for Stanford is no longer existent.
