TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Three people were injured in a rollover crash, according to a news release from the Tucson Fire Department.
A Northwest Fire Investigator had been driving by the scene and rendered aid to the three, while relaying information to TFD crews that were responding to the scene.
According to the news release, two people were ejected from the vehicle, with the third remaining inside. Tools were not required to remove that person from the vehicle.
All three were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
TFD is reminding drivers of the importance of wearing a seatbelt. Seatbelts help reduce serious crash-related injuries and deaths by about 50 percent.
The left lanes of both east and westbound Interstate 10 are back open, as of 5:43 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
