TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - You could talk to Manny for hours!
He is so intelligent and knows how to dream big.
Manny likes to do it all. "Either play video games, read, throw the football around, play basketball, ride my bike,” said Manny.
“Manny is very intelligent so he wants to be an engineer when he grows up and I fully believe that he will do that,” said Kate McLaren, a Youth Advocate with Arizona Children’s Association. "I want to build stuff to help people,” added Manny.
The dreams don’t stop there. From engineering to sports to the military. “When I was little, I’d always watch transformers and I’d be like man, I want to build that one day.”
If he isn’t drawing up designs, Manny is throwing the football around. " My number one (team) is Denver Broncos and number 2 is Dallas Cowboys,” said Manny. "So his dream is, if I can go be a professional athlete and go play for one of those teams and then become an engineer after the fact,” said Kate.
The military could also be in Manny’s future. " I like ROTC because I just want to see what it’s like in the military. Think about it and maybe do to the military,” said Manny.
Manny has big dreams and he needs the right family by his side. “Patience, understanding, a family that is knowledgeable of trauma and how that affects a child now and their behaviors,” said Kate. ”I just think that if he’s in the right home, his future would be incredible cause he is so smart and has such a huge potential."
Manny is looking forward to a family he can make wonderful memories with. "Spending a lot of time together like on holidays, like being able to go out of town. Go places. Just a family that loves me.”
