TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - There is one more change coming for southern AZ drivers in the Ina Road area, this time on the frontage road.
The eastbound Interstate 10 frontage road, between Cortaro and Ina, will be returning to one-way configuration (eastbound only) on Sunday, April 21, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Not only will the road be one way, it will also temporarily be narrowed to a single lane as crews work on the slopes between eastbound I-10 and the eastbound frontage road.
Beginning Friday night, April 26 crews will also be paving the eastbound frontage road between Cortaro Road and Starcommerce Way, this will affect traffic on both Cortaro Road and the frontage road. Additional details will be released in the coming week about this work.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
