TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) is hosting the fourth installment of its SPEEK Adult Lecture Series: Show Dogs and Shelter Dogs.

Learn the difference between purebred dogs and shelter dogs, including some very amazing benefits to bringing home your new best friend from the shelter. An expert judge from the Tucson Kennel Club will provide insight into what judges look for and how shelter dogs are the real winners!

The 2-hour educational class is held Thursday, May 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona at 635 West Roger Road, Tucson, AZ 85705

All participants must register prior to the event. The $10 class fee is non-refundable upon registration for the class.
