6-year-old New Mexico boy found after AMBER Alert issued

NEW MEXICO (KCBD) - UPDATE: As of 4:30 p.m., New Mexico State Police confirm the young boy has been located and is safe. Thanks to all who shared information on this incident.

An Amber Alert was issued by the New Mexico Department of Public Safety early Monday morning for a 6-year-old boy from Valencia County.

This is a copy of the report from New Mexico DPS:

Freddie Drake is a six-year-old Caucasian male, four feet tall, weighing approximately thirty-seven pounds, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. Freddie Drake was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt unknown emblem and blue jeans.

Police believe Freddie is with Arlene Drake who is a thirty-five-year-old Caucasian female, five-foot-tall, one hundred and two pounds, brown hair, and green eyes. It is believed Arlene is driving a 2004 silver Ford Mustang displaying black chile license plate with New Mexico registration AKMF23.

After police were contacted, a thorough investigation has commenced. Last known location is on Highway 47 and Jemez Road in Belen, New Mexico. Many details are still unknown and under investigation. However, of urgent concern is the whereabouts of Freddie Drake.
