TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - South Georgia Tormenta FC defeated FC Tucson 2-0 Friday night at Kino North Stadium.

The home side is now winless in their last three matches.

Tormenta (3-1-2, 11 points) is cementing themselves as the class of this first season of USL League One. SGTFC has beaten FCT now twice this season, outscoring them 5-1. All five goals have come in the second half of play.

The match was scoreless at the half. FC Tucson goalkeeper Philip Ejimadu stopped six shots in the first half.

Tormenta scored on two-of-three shots in the second half. Lucas Coutinho gave the visitors the lead with a strike in the 63rd minute. South Georgia added an empty net goal in stoppage time by William Conner Antley.

FC Tucson (1-2-1, 4 points) will be back in action on Tuesday, April 30th when they host Lansing Ignite at Kino North Stadium to wrap up a three-match homestand. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
