TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - Lewis William Parks was convicted of breaking into a house and attempting to sexually assault a stranger last week.
In April of 2018, the victim woke up to find a strange man in her bed. He told her to be quiet or he would cut her. Rather than stay quiet, she fought back. Parks was armed with a knife and the victim sustained cuts to her hands as she fought with him. Parks fled out the back door and both the victim and a neighbor called 911. Fingerprints and DNA led police to Parks.
Last week, a jury convicted Parks of Attempted Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping and Burglary.
