TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A bomb threat resulted in the evacuation of a midtown elementary school on Wednesday, May 8.
According to information from the Tucson Police Department, police didn’t find anything, but school officials at Holaway Elementary School, 3500 N. Cherry Avenue, chose not to hold school today.
Police also said the bomb squad did not respond to the scene because nothing was found.
A statement from the Amphitheater Public Schools said all students were safe.
Parents said they were told that students were taken to a nearby church.
The school district said the threat was written on an outside wall of the school building.
The school says classes will resume tomorrow.
