TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A former assistant volleyball coach convicted of a sex crime won't be sent to prison.
Robert Forman II was sentenced to probation for five years on Friday, May 1.
Forman was convicted of sexual conduct with a minor on March 19, but he was found not guilty of three more serious charges -- including sexual conduct with a minor.
Forman was 22 years old when he was arrested in January 2018. His arrest came after a Ironwood Ridge student said she was in a sexual relationship with him.
Amphi Public Schools has said Forman was not an employee of the district and is no longer affiliated with the school.
