TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A Tucson woman is facing life in prison in connection with a fatal overdose that happened on the city’s south side late last year.
The DEA said Jocelyn Lopez-Sanchez, 22, was indicted by a federal grand jury May 1 and turned herself in Wednesday, May 8.
Agent said Lopez-Sanchez is allegedly the supplier of the fentanyl that caused four people to overdose at a home on Idaho Street on Nov. 1, 2018.
One man died and three other people were hospitalized.
Lopez-Sanchez is facing 20 years to life if convicted on a charge of supplying a drug that resulted in death. She is also charges with two counts of drug importation.
