TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A Sahuarita man is in jail after being accused of pointing a handgun at a female coworker.
On May 10, 2019, Sahuarita Police officers responded to a local restaurant in the 18000 block of I-19 Frontage Road, in reference to a male employee who pointed a handgun at a female coworker.
The assault with the weapon occurred in an adjacent parking lot while asking her if she wanted to die.
Investigation revealed the crime occurred during the evening hours on May 9 and that the incident was witnessed by multiple bystanders.
Through investigation, officers and detectives were able to identify the suspect as 18-year-old Emmanuel Munoz. The suspect was located at a residence, near the 2200 block of North Avenida Tabica in Sahuarita, where he was arrested.
Emmanuel Munoz was later booked into the Pima County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Threats and Intimidation, and Endangerment.
On May 11th, 2019, a search warrant associated with these crimes was executed at a residence near the 28000 block of South Royal Drive in Amado.
Two handguns were located during the search of this residence, both which were collected as evidence.
