TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Tucson Fire Department crews responded to an early morning shed fire after receiving a 911 call from someone who had been passing by the area.
Crews arrived at the 2000 block of West Ajo Way to find a detached shed with the roof on fire.
Occupants in the nearby home were evacuated safely, and firefighters were able to get the fire under control a short time after arriving at the scene, saving the nearby home from the flames.
No one was inside the shed, which was being used for laundry/storage, when the fire started, according to the TFD.
Building Safety/Code Enforcement had also responded to the scene to ensure the property was safe for the residents to stay on and Fire Investigators were working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
