Southern Arizonans graduate from U.S. Air Force boot camp in June

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Several southern Arizonans have recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas; completing an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Joshua E. Rodriguez is the son of Yukimi and Santos Rodriguez of Honolulu, Hawaii. He is a 2014 graduate of Cienega High School, Tucson, Ariz.

U.S. Air Force Airman Demetry A. Laurenceau is the daughter of Julia L. Burwell of Sahuarita. She is a 2012 graduate of Sahuarita High School.

U.S. Air Force Airman Hunter J. Albrandt is the son of Christopher H. and Dana M. Albrandt of Sahuarita, Ariz. He is a 2018 graduate of Newsome High School, Tampa Bay, Fla.

U.S. Air Force Airman Marina S. Rechcygl is the daughter of Victoria L. and Shane C. Rechcygl of Ogden, Utah. She is a 2011 graduate of Cienega High School, Vail, Ariz.

U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Abraham A. Soto Duran is the husband of Annais M. Soto of Green Valley, Ariz. He is a 2007 graduate of Desert View High School. He earned an associate degree in 2018 from Devry University, Phoenix.

U.S. Air Force Airman Martin Laprada is the son of Claudio and Blanca O. Laprada and brother of Celina C. and Diana Laprada of Douglas. He is a 2017 graduate of Douglas High School.
