UPDATE: PCSD releases the name of the victim in northwest side shooting

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has released the names of the two people involved in the shooting in the 8000 block of North Country Home Lane, as 19-year-old Raymundo Lopez-Casillas III and 17-year-old Luis Angel Lopez Jr.

Detectives determined that Lopez Jr died as the result of a gunshot wound that appears to have been accidental, according to PCSD.

A suspected explosive device was found inside the home as detectives were inside, so the Pima Regional Bomb Squad responded to assist in removing the device.

The investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
