Tucson’s Alday looks to get back on winning MMA track

Combate Americas: Tucson Ubreakable Preview

TUCSON, Ariz. - Combate Americas is set for another pounding night of MMA in Tucson tonight at Casino del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater.

Billed as “Tucson Unbreakable”, the fight card will feature a bantamweight (135 pounds) main event between former world champion Jose “Pochito” Alday (12-4-1) of Tucson and Juan Pablo “El Molo” Gonzalez (7-2-2) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The co-main event is a lightweight (155 pounds) event featuring the return of undefeated phenom Rafa “Gifted” Garcia (9-0), who will face the most seasoned opponent of his career in Estevan “El Terrible” Payan (17-12, 1 NC).

Doors at AVA Amphitheater at Casino Del Sol will open at 6 p.m. and the first preliminary bout will begin at 7 p.m.
