CBP rescues man after steep fall off Mt. Lemmon cliff

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Border Patrol agents rescued a man who had fallen from a cliff on Mt. Lemmon.

They heard cries for help during their training and found a 70-year-old man who had fallen off the cliff, according to a Twitter post from Customs and Border Patrol.

Agents lifted him 50 feet up the cliff with a rope system and quickly gave him the medical aid he needed.

The man broke his leg and suffered deep cuts from the fall.
