TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Police have identified the suspect involved in a standoff that ended after more than 20 hours on Tuesday, June 25, on the east side of Tucson.
The Tucson Police Department said 44-year-old Cully Hartnett was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. A child was located in the home and was not injured, according to the TPD.
Hartnett has been booked into the Pima County Jail on several charges, including aggravated assault domestic violence, kidnapping domestic violence and aggravated domestic violence.
The TPD said Hartnett also not injured.
The situation began around 6 p.m. Monday, June 24, when a woman called and said her ex-boyfriend assaulted her in her home. The TPD said she suffered minor injuries.
Officers responded and found Hartnett at his home in the 7900 block of East Magical Way at around 9 p.m.
