TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A young Tucson child died a day after she was shot by another toddler in a Tucson home, authorities said.

Sgt. Pete Dugan, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said the 1-year-old girl died around noon Wednesday, July 31.

Dugan said Child Physical Abuse Units are investigating and no one has been arrested.

The shooting, which involved a small caliber rifle, happened in the 4700 block of East Linden Street around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
