UPDATE: Brinks employee taken into custody by FBI after armored car found abandoned with money missing near Costco in Tempe

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - 23-year-old Edwin “Johnny” Jobany Villa was taken into custody by the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force on Monday, Nov. 4 after authorities say a brinks armored car was found abandoned with money missing on Sunday, Oct. 27 near a Costco on 1345 W. Elliot Dr. in Tempe.

Villa was located at around 7 p.m. near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix and booked in to the 4th Ave jail and is facing four charges including conspiracy to commit theft, two felony theft charges, and unlawful use of means of transportation.
