Woman accused of leaving two young children in car reaches plea agreement

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A plea agreement was reached in the case of a woman who was accused of leaving her two young children in a car in March 2018.

Brittany Ann Velasquez has pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and one count of child abuse on Monday, Nov. 4.

Velasquez is facing 20 years for the murder charge and lifetime probation.
