TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The road through Gates Pass is open again after a motorcyclist crashed off a small cliff and had to be rescued on Sunday night, Nov. 1.

Personnel from Northwest Fire District, Tucson Fire Department and Pima County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.

The motorcyclist was hurt, but is expected to live.

According to information from PCSD, it was a single-vehicle crash in which the driver failed to successfully negotiate a turn and left the roadway.

No further details were immediately available.
