TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A true princess wish came true last week in Arizona as Disney and the Make-A-Wish Foundation partnered up to fulfill the dream a young girl from Phoenix.
Back in February, 6-year-old Maria made a wish to be a princess. Maria could not go to Disneyland due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, so Disney and Make-A-Wish surprised her with a full Disney-princess makeover!
Maria’s makeover came with 5 complete Disney princess outfits, including hair and makeup from local stylists; Disney princess jewelry and shoes; dolls and toys; plus a virtual royal visit from Princess Belle, entirely in Spanish.
Maria is a native Spanish speaker and is currently being treated for leukemia.
Make-A-Wish says this is the first-of-it’s-kind-wish from a Spanish-speaking Disney Princess in the United States.
