TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Though leaving the house might be difficult in the middle of a pandemic, hiking is one way to explore while staying socially distant.

There’s no better day to experience the great outdoors than National Take a Hike Day. The day, Nov. 17, honors all things trail and is a time to get outside and appreciate nature.

Southern Arizona is home to hundreds of trails and vast wilderness and forest areas, one of them being the Coronado National Forest, which is home to the beloved Mt. Lemmon in the Santa Catalina Mountain Range.
