TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Tucson city council approved an additional $500,000 to help families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic care for their kids.

Applications are now open for childcare funding, which provides up to $2,275 per child per family with no limit on how many children are in each household, according to the city’s website.

Expenses, provided through Catholic Community Services, cover children 12 and under living in Tucson and South Tucson. Expenses will be paid directly to the provider and the program runs through Dec. 31, 2020, or until funds run out.
