Tucson: If you’re hearing explosions, Davis-Monthan says ‘don’t freak out’.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - If you live in the Tucson area and you’re hearing exposions, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base advises residents not to freak out.

Until about 5:30 p.m., Airmen from the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron will be performing controlled explosive demonstrations.

Officials with Davis-Monthan say explosions may be heard in the local community, especially if you live close to base.
