Fully restored B-17 G tail gun to be unveiled Saturday

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The 390th Memorial Museum has announced it will unveil a fully-restored B-17 G tail gun on Saturday, Jan. 9.

The event will take place at 11:30 p.m. and you can watch it online by clicking [this link].

The tail turret gun is a loan to the museum from author Nicholas Veronico, who fully restored it and has authored over 30 books on aviation.

Veronico will be speaking and taking questions about the acquisition and restoration process.

The 390th Memorial Museum is located at the Pima Air and Space Museum. There is no entrance fee to the 390th Memorial Museum beyond the admission fee to Pima Air and Space.
