TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, six Arizona counties have moved into the next phase of coronavirus inoculations.

The counties in Phase 1B include Apache, Gila, Mohave, Pinal, Santa Cruz and Yuma Counties. All others remain in the first phase of vaccinations.

In this second phase, priority will be given to education and childcare workers, people working in protective service agencies, adults 75 and older, adults with high-risk conditions and critical industry workers.

The state will also continue to vaccinate those remaining in the Phase 1A group, but they will not be given priority.

After Phase 1B is complete, the state will move into Phase 1C, at which time the state will concentrate in vaccinating adults 65 and older, adults of any age with high-risk medical conditions, adults living in congregate settings and those remaining in groups 1A and 1B.
