TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - In place of Hotel Congress’ annual Dillinger Days celebration, the historic hotel will host a cookout instead.
Congress Cookout will be a scaled-back nod to Dillinger Days, which features re-enactments of the capture of notorious criminal John Dillinger and his gang of thieves every year on the hotel’s patio.
This year’s celebration will feature a performance by Kings of Pleasure, a barbeque meal and a 1930s-era costume contest, according to Hotel Congress’s Facebook page.
Tickets to the limited-capacity event on Sunday, Jan. 24, are $10.
