TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Two men are now in custody for a deadly drive-by shooting that killed a 1-year-old baby and injured several others.

Investigators with the Mesa Police Department arrested 31-year-old Chazmon Ray Washington and 29-year-old Larry T. Miller for the October 2019 shooting outside a food truck event, according to a report by AZ Family.

Police say a vehicle stopped in the roadway and began shooting into the crowd. Six people, including four children, were hurt. One-year-old Sebastian Duran was killed.

The shooting happened after Washington got into a fight with his girlfriend outside the food truck event, AZ Family reports. Shortly after the fight, that’s when the gunman showed up.

Police believe the fight and the shooting are connected but did not elaborate any further, according to AZ Family.

Both Miller and Washington face multiple charges including first-degree murder.
