TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Even though thousands are being vaccinated for COVID-19, cases are still rising across the state and there is even a new more contagious stand of the virus.

To protect residents, The Tucson March for Life will be held this weekend in the form of a car caravan.

Hundreds of cars, trucks, vans, & motorcycles decorated with positive messages of protecting all life from conception to natural death will caravan through Tucson for the Tucson Road Rally for Life. This event will replace the annual March for Life event.

Starting on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 9:30 am, participants will gather at Holy Family Church and travel 15 miles through Tucson streets and back to the starting point.

The Road Rally for Life is a prayerful and peaceful public witness by pro-life citizens commemorating the 48th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade abortion ruling which has resulted in more than 65 million abortions in America and one billion abortions worldwide.
