TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Another popular event has been postponed due to COVID-19. The Pima County Fair, which usually comes to Tucson in April, has now been moved up to the fall.

Formal dates have not been announced, but fair officials say next year’s fair is scheduled for April 21 - May 1, 2022.

“Not being able to bring this great tradition to Tucson and Pima County for the 2nd year is disappointing,” read the announcement. “Like many others in our industry, the financial impact negatively affects the Southwestern Fair Commission, Inc., our valued industry partners, and our community.”

Aside from bringing fun to thousands of people in our community every year, the Pima County Fair also provides an opportunity to hundreds of workers to provide for their families, and annually donates enough food for 80,000 meals to the Communitry Food Bank
