PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police have identified a woman accused of shooting her boyfriend to death.
Authorities said Sunday, March 7, that officers arrested 23-year-old Maureen Wahl on suspicion of manslaughter.
According to a report in AZ Family, court paperwork indicates Wahl told police she wasn’t trying to kill her boyfriend and “didn’t want him dead.” Read the entire report HERE.
Officers responded to the scene in central Phoenix around 10 p.m. Saturday and reported finding a man who had been shot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Wahl remained at the scene of the shooting and investigators developed probable cause to take her into custody.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
It was not immediately known Monday if Wahl had an attorney.
