TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Tempe police officers found thousands of fentanyl pills during a routine traffic stop last week.

Officers with the Tempe Police Department made the discovery during a stop on Friday, March 5, 2021, according to the department’s Twitter page.

They said two people were in the car, where officers found 9,500 fentanyl pills, marijuana and cocaine, according to AZ Family.
