TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Governor Doug Ducey is expected to visit the Southern Border on Friday, Mar. 19.
Ducey will be joined by Senator Rick Scott of Florida who is a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Other Arizona lawmakers and community leaders from Cochise County will also be in attendance.
According to a news release, they will get a first-hand view of the security and humanitarian situation at the U.S.-Mexico border. Officials will be getting an aerial border tour, receive a briefing and hold a border security roundtable.
