Controlled burning to take place in Fort Huachuca on April 3

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - In conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, Fort Huachuca will conduct a prescribed burning inside Libby Army Airfield on Saturday, April 3.

So don’t freak out if you see smoke coming out from the airfield perimeter.

Fort Huachuca officials say smoke will be visible throughout the entire day.

And the burn will consist of 505 acres of land.
