5th grade essay contest opens for Arizona students for college money

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - If you are a student in 5th grade and live here in Arizona, an opportunity to get some cash for college has opened up just for you.

Arizona’s Education Savings Plan has launched its second annual statewide essay contest, and 20 Arizona students can receive more than $500 towards their futures.

This year’s essay prompt is: “What is your dream job and how do you plan on achieving it in the future?”

A total of 20 winners will be selected among those who enter. Submissions will be accepted online and through direct mail NOW through May 29.

Winners will be announced during the summer. Parents or guardians of the contest winners will have to set up an account with the organization after they have been notified about the prize by the Arizona State Treasurer’s Office
