Pima Animal Care Center waives adoption fees for some pets
TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Thanks to a special promotion, the Pima Animal Care Center will waive adoption fees for pets at least 4 months old for the rest of April.
The adoption special kicked off Monday, April 19, and runs until Friday, April 30, 2021. Though adoptions for some animals won’t cost a thing, prospective pet parents will still have to pay the mandatory $20 licensing fee per dog and kitten and puppies will cost $50 each, according to a news release from PACC.
People interested in adopting should fill out a dog or cat survey then make an online reservation to meet the animal they like. Reservations are also available for kennel walk-throughs, the release stated, and all visitors must wear a mask while they take a look at adoptable animals.
Pima Animal Care Center is open Monday to Friday, from noon to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Click here to see a list of all adoptable animals.
