UPDATE: Stranded driver killed after being hit by multiple vehicles identified

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Authorities have identified the stranded driver who was killed after he was hit by multiple vehicles while trying to get help in Pinal County late Saturday, July 30.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said Ulrick Fisher, 62, died on Ironwood Road. Fisher’s car broke down and he was hit by several vehicles while trying to cross the road.

Anyone who witnessed the crash and needs help is asked to contact the PCSO Victim Services Unit by emailing sonia.ortega@pinal.gov.

“Scenes like these can stay in a person’s memory,” the PCSO said in a Facebook post. “When working with these types of incidents, our deputies are given the resources they need to process what they are dealing with. In this case, there were also many members of the public who also witnessed the scene.”
