TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Authorities have released the identity of remains found in Three Points on Oct. 4.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said the remains are those of 74-year-old Michael Brown. The manner of death has not yet been determined.

According to officials, deputies responded to S. Howling Coyote Trail and W. Hermans Road, where they found partial human remains.

Deputies say they immediately identified it as a suspicious circumstance and requested the response of detectives.

Detectives then conducted interviews and collected evidence.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or submit an anonymous tip by calling 520-882-7463.
