Wildcats grab No. 4 seed in women’s NCAA tournament

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - McKale Center will host first and second round games of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament after Arizona grabbed a No. 4 seed in the Greensboro Region.
The Wildcats (20-7) will play UNLV at McKale Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 19. The game will be on ESPN2.
The matchup will feature Arizona standout Sam Thomas going up against her sister, UNLV guard Jade Thomas.
The Arizona-UNLV winner will face either North Carolina or Stephen F. Austin in a second-round game on Monday, March 24.
The UNC-SFA game is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Tucson. It will be on ESPN News.
