TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Two U.S. citizens were detained after they allegedly were caught smuggling five undocumented migrants on Tuesday, April 12.

According to a news release, Cochise County sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Operation Safe Streets task force pulled a 2002 Kian van over al milepost 3 in McNeal.

Authorities say they found driver Marcus Lilly, 56, of Illinois and passenger Tracy Cole, 52, of Mesa transporting five undocumented migrants.

All subjects were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
